The announcement today that Apple CEO Steve Jobs is taking a leave of absence until late June has caused AAPL to sink significantly. Currently shares are down $4.47 or 5.22%. The fear driving the losses is the fact that the company will be lost without its enigmatic leader.
I truly believe that if the structure, vision, and development within Apple stays the same, they should be able to weather Jobs abscence. I mean we're talking about the same team that brought us the iPod, the iPhone, and the constant improvements in Macs.
True, Jobs is a vital and integral part to it all but as long as everyone stays on the same page and stays true to what Jobs started, they should be ok.
